Sustainability and ESG Analyst

Job Summary:

DayOne Data Centre is a pioneer sustainable, next/gen digital infrastructure developer committed to driving sustainable practices and integrating ESG principles into our operations. We are looking for a passionate and motivated professional to join our team and support our Senior Sustainability. Sustainability includes Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). This role creates the ideal workplace for new graduates in the sustainability field to develop skills and experience before making longer term career choices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior Sustainability staff in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Collect, analyse, and report on sustainability data to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the coordination and execution of sustainability projects and programs.
• Assist in the preparation of Sustainability related disclosures and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability and ESG considerations into business operations.
• Participate in Sustainability training and development programs.
• Other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, chemical engineering, environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field.

Preferred experience / skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Internship or project experience in sustainability.

Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ESRS, ISSB S1 & S2, SASB, TCFD).

Year of experience : 1 – 2 years

Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in data analytics and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).

Passion for Sustainability issues.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
