Your Impact: Lead the Charge on Water Reuse & Recycling

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the industrial water reuse and recycling space—a key pillar of Solenis’ sustainability strategy. This senior-level, high-visibility role requires deep expertise in water treatment technologies and a track record of delivering circular water solutions to industrial clients.

This is more than a sales role—you will shape market strategy, build executive-level relationships, lead technical evaluations, and guide investment decisions that advance water reduction, reuse, and recycling practices across Europe.

What You’ll Do

• Expand Market Presence: Identify and pursue new business opportunities focused on industrial water recycling and reuse. Target high-impact opportunities in F&B, HPI, and CPI sectors.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Design and execute business development plans aligned with sustainability goals—emphasizing water recovery, energy optimization, and resource efficiency.
• Lead Technical Engagements: Collaborate with clients and internal experts to evaluate and implement technologies such as MF, UF, NF, RO, Ion Exchange, and MBR. Deliver training and guidance to Solenis field teams.
• Shape Financial Decisions: Evaluate ROI and payback on capital solutions. Prioritize markets and projects based on value potential and strategic fit.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with sales, engineering, R&D, and marketing to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies.
• Influence at the Executive Level: Engage directly with client and Solenis leadership to align solutions with long-term sustainability and financial goals.
  

What You Bring

• Proven Industry Experience: 10+ years in water treatment equipment systems (reuse/recycle) including technologies like MF, UF, RO, MBR, etc. Background in F&B, HPI, or CPI sectors is highly preferred.
• Strategic Mindset: Experience in business development, strategic marketing, or technical applications with a strong understanding of sustainability drivers.
• Technical and Commercial Acumen: Ability to bridge technical solutions with commercial value for customers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
• Language: Fluency in English required; other European languages are a strong asset.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel 50–70% across Europe to engage with customers and internal teams.
