This Business Development Manager role is dedicated to ESG. Our osapiens HUB puts us at the forefront of the sustainability movement. This enables companies to fully comply with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and the Whistleblower Directive, to calculate their corporate carbon footprint and, in the future, to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
As a Business Development Manager within ESG at osapiens, you will be championing lead generation initiatives within the realm of corporate sustainability for the Benelux market. By researching target companies, initiating product pitches, and nurturing qualified leads, we aim to expand our reach and empower organisations to embrace sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on target industries and market segments to identify potential business opportunities in Benelux.
- Utilise various prospecting methods, including networking events, online platforms, and industry publications, to uncover new leads.
- Customise messaging to resonate with the specific needs and pain points of each prospect.
- Implement strategic timing for outreach efforts to maximise engagement and response rates.
- Provide timely and personalised follow-up communication to nurture leads and maintain their interest.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Executive team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
- Continuously update and maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Analyse data and metrics from CRM reports to track lead generation performance and identify areas for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration
- Proven experience in the Benelux market, including an understanding of industry dynamics, customer behavior, and market entry strategies.
- Experience in business development and/or lead generation for targeted outreach activities focused on new customer acquisition
- Exceptional communication skills that allow you to communicate with external and internal stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and openness to work in our international environment, combined with your outgoing nature
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a team player attitude, eager to learn and contribute to the team’s collective goals
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English at a professional level.
