Mission:
Leading the BU environmental Strategy and assure legal compliance of the BU regarding environmental Topic. Minimize the environmental Risk in the BU and leading audits process.
Main functions:
• Foster Environmental Sustainable Strategy, coordinate with EU and Central team.
• Translate and assure BU Environmental Strategy objectives.
• Define an environmental strategy communication plan together with internal and external communication team.
• Control and maintenance of Integrated Environmental Authorization (Non-substantial/substantial modifications). Environmental Licenses Control.
• Update and compliance with the Best Available Techniques of the Meat Industry to achieve the Renewal of the Integrated Environmental Authorization.
• Control and renewal of authorizations.
• Develop certification plans. Assure environmental certification implementation and improvement. Internal Auditor.
• Defense during environmental inspections/audits of the plant.
• Update of current legislation, as well as identification of applicable requirements and periodic verification of compliance.
• Legal requirements: reading, execution, and response. Minimize risks.
• Support for legal documentation and records specific for the BU.
• Lead the projects linked to the strategy and legal local requirements.
• Participate in new projects with Environmental implications
• Communication with administrative authorities.
• Developing and delivering training with the help of EU team.
• Preparation and submission of reports (internal and external)
• Reporting to Regional and Central Team.
• Support local plants.

Requirements:
• Higher education in Engineering and/or Environment
• Expertise in climate action and environmental sustainability challenges, preferably with experience in designing and implementing sustainability solutions
• Deep technical knowledge and capabilities
• Data detailed. Data base management.
• Project Management.
• Knowledge of legislation and policy influencing carbon and climate change, knowledge of key methodologies and standards associated with carbon accounting and carbon management, such as ISO14064, ISO50001, PAS2060, PAS2080, SBTis and Net Zero Standard
• Demonstrable good business sense to identify and seize opportunities in a challenging and competitive market environment
• Strong quantitative skills and the ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions.
• Strong Knowledge on CSRD and associated guides, include GRI.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable being proactive and working with autonomy
