We hire a Sustainability Technician for infrastructure and energy projects.
Located in Madrid, the purpose of this position will be:
Deploy and monitor the Corporate Sustainability Strategy of the company through subsidiaries as well as analyze risks/opportunities
Preparation of sustainability reports, containing indicators and data analysis to align them with the company’s sustainability strategy.
Preparation of sustainability diagnoses, Non-Financial Information Statements (NFI), sustainability reports and Integrated Reports, Materiality Processes and Resilience Risks analysis.
Preparation of Resilience Corporate Plan with special attention on climate change risks and opportunities
Calculation of the carbon footprint of the company and support the Action Plan related.
Development of social action plans and coordination of social investment strategy at Group level.
Building (keep updated proactively) a scorecard of sustainability indicators carried out by the company
Engage all areas of the company in a comprehensive way on the importance of sustainability management, emphasizing its value. Promote employee training and awareness.
Ensure legal and internal regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Science,… With strong interest in environmental and social matters.
A specific Master’s Degree or specialization in Sustainabilitymust be valuable.
Extensive knowledge of legal regulations related to sustainabilityissues, at local and EU level, as well as international reporting standards such as GRI, PRI, ICMA, SASB, TCFD.
Knowledge of the GRESB benchmark platform will be an important plus.
Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to solve new problems.
Advanced data analytic skills with data bases, high Excel level, and experience using PowerBIwill be a plus.
Work experience (at least 3 years) in related position, preferably in infrastructure and or energy sector in multinational companies or consulting firms.
Proactive and resolute attitude, ability for managing adhoc project teams, organization, and strong results orientation.
International environment: Latin America.
High English level (min. C1).
Availability to travel.
