We are looking for an experienced, outgoing and forward-thinking Program Manager to plan, implement and oversee our organization’s Sustainability Program. The Sustainability Program Manager will be responsible for documenting the industry’s progress toward sustainability, gather scientific evidence and insights into best practices to produce reports and recommendations, and develop and implement collaborative multi-country initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing projects from start to finish, and expertise of the main environmental and social issues facing the agri-food sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
– Creating and developing plans
– Manage project plans, coordinate resources, track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality deliverables.
– Coordinate and control budgets and schedules
– Ad-hoc international travel for meetings, conferences and other events

– Forestry and sustainable forest management
DELIVERABLES
– Monthly progress reports of activities
– Analysis/report of scientific evidence, regulations and best practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, environmental science and technology, or similar, plus a mater, post-grade or program in sustainability.
– Native or near native English.
– At least 5 years of experience in project management.
– Experience working on sustainable projects within the food sector
