Consultant, Sustainability & ESG Reporting
As a Sustainability & ESG Reporting consultant, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding our clients toward sustainable practices. Your expertise will contribute to their overall improvement while ensuring compliance with ESG regulations and standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work and liaise with a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on setting up and improving their sustainability reporting.Help clients define clear sustainability objectives, identify material issues, select appropriate reporting frameworks.Undertake data gathering and analysis activities.Completion of carbon footprint reporting aligned to ISO14064-1 and GHG Protocol.Collaborate closely with clients to develop customised ESG and sustainability strategies.Undertake materiality assessments to identify key focus areas.Monitor and research regulatory developments to ensure compliance.Craft ESG communications materials, including ESG reports, to transparently convey performance and progress.Stay informed about emerging best practices, evolving ESG standards, and industry trends.Contribute to thought leadership within our consultancy and the broader ESG community.
Key Requirements
A solid background in ESG, sustainability, or related fields is essential.Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards including GRI, Integrated Reporting, SASB, TCFD, and UN Global Compact among others.Motivated and have an enthusiasm for sustainability.Target driven for delivery of services.Strong communication, interpersonal and presentational skills.Ability to work closely with clients, team members, and external stakeholdersExcellent planning and organisational skills.Excellent computer skills in particular Microsoft Office and data visualisation tools.Excellent data management approaches with high level attention to detail.Willing to travel to sites, have own car and hold a Full Irish Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.Strong understanding of corporate sustainability concepts, international frameworks, principles, reporting requirements and themes.To be able to communicate complex information in simple terms to a wide range of stakeholdersBroad knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG principles and sustainability rating schemes.
