OW a controlled 50/50 joint venture between EDP and Engie is looking for a multitasker and adaptable «Stakeholders Associate».

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Coordinates the stakeholder engagement approach of Ocean Winds at a corporate level, while supporting its offshore wind projects and Business Units’ communications and reputational needs; allowing to create a profitable and lasting relationship with all stakeholders and a positive reputation for Ocean Winds.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

CORPORATE STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT – Participates in the definition of the corporate Stakeholder Management Plan.
PROJECTS OVERVIEW – Develops a global overview and understanding of offshore wind projects in order to identify milestones throughout all phases of the projects and supports stakeholder engagement strategy at project level.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT – Supports all the stakeholder engagement needs of the offshore wind projects and business units (including business development support).
EVENTS AND SPORSORSHIPS MANAGEMENT – Supports projects and BU’s team with participation and sponsorship at local, regional and/or national events.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT TOOL IMPLEMENTATION – Support implementation and use of stakeholder management tool throughout the projects.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Sustainability, Institutional Relations or External Affairs.

LANGUAGES

The project has an international team of employees and the working language is English.
Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Native English speaker will a plus. Spanish, French and / or Portuguese will be highly valued.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Between 4 and 6 years.

KNOWLEDGE

Strong experience with stakeholders mapping methods and engagement strategy.
Experience in Renewable Energy / Energy / Infrastructures sectors will be a plus.
Experience in working in Stakeholders engagement / Sustainability / Communications Department.

SKILLS

Possess a strategic approach to problems solving; able to anticipate potential reputational issues.
Experince developing creative, effective approaches to difficult communications challenges.
Experience working in international environments.
Show iniciative and reactivity.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Location in Madrid. Travelling to projects’s offices may be required.
