Responsible Sourcing Specialist – Your future position?

As a Responsible Sourcing Specialist, you will sit in the Global Sustainability Department of Givaudan under the guidance of the Global Head of Responsible Sourcing (RS) and works in close collaboration with the entire RS Team. The RS programs are focusing on social, environmental, management systems, and ethics and compliance aspects in our supply chains and at Givaudan sites and Joint Ventures. You will help implement the RS strategy and program, focusing on internal and external RS aspects and contributing to strategic projects while mainly supporting with the program overall administration.

 

Multiple location: Kemptthal (Switzerland), Argenteuil (France), Budapest (Hungary), Ashford (UK), Naarden (Netherlands), Dortmund (Germany), Valencia (Spain)

 

In this exciting role, you will:

Internal Responsible Sourcing Data Mgmt, Analytics and Reporting

 

Coordinate the responsible sourcing data (for our Naturals, Synthetics, Indirect Materials & Services) reporting KPI definition (Policy push, Due Diligence

Questionnaires, Supplier Audits, and Action Plans, Traceability information), and work with the relevant partners to ensure data integrity, consistency, and coordinated reporting

Apply analytics on Responsible Sourcing data to make sense of large amounts of information being produced as part of Sourcing4Good program efforts, which identify trends, highlights, and improvement opportunities for internal use cases and for customers and consumers. The analytics work will allow the team to improve on the current program and stay relevant to changing landscape.

Be a single contact (SPOC) with the Givaudan Global Sustainability Solutions (GSS) Team responsible for the Responsible Sourcing customer reporting process, with the Sustainability Excellence team working on the Digitalization of Sourcing4Good program and procurement representatives following needs

Support suppliers and sites during their Sustainability journey (training, internal and external audits, sustainability assurance process, target setting, communication)
External Responsible Sourcing Disclosure and Communications

Coordinate the Palm ACOP, SVI Vanilla, inputs for WBA, inputs for Ecovadis and other similar Responsible Sourcing linked external disclosures

Contribute to the annual reporting suite: Integrated Annual report & GRI report

Be a main contact at the corporate level to solve questions and provide evidence in the area of responsible sourcing, in collaboration with the other team members

Be a Responsible Sourcing contact point for our teams when preparing for and presenting the Responsible Sourcing efforts to the customer and other external partners
Responsible Sourcing Strategy and Programs

Support strategy and participate in program roll-outs such as the Sourcing4Good Sustainability digital roadmap, supplier scorecard, supplier due diligence and assessments, supply chain traceability, Advanced level projects with suppliers and customers, and other strategic ad-hoc projects

Support Responsible Sourcing Managers in their work, connecting the Sourcing4Good work being done with other company functions like Wider

Sustainability Team, Global Sustainability Solutions, and Sustainability Excellence
Your professional profile includes:

University degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Information Systems, Chemistry, or Procurement

At least 5 years of experience in Sustainability, Procurement, Information Systems, Chemistry, or Engineering

Knowledge of corporate procurement, responsible sourcing or sustainability aspects (knowledge of ingredient commodity supply chains, Forest ecosystems, procurement practices, Industry forums like CDP-Sedex-Ecovadis-TfS-AIM-Progress.;)

Some relevant experience in data management, due diligence, ethics & compliance aspects

Fluent in English

Knowledge of any advanced data analytics systems

Autonomous and comfortable with cross-functional set-ups

Customer and service focus, solution-oriented

Ability to travel (10%)
