Your Role:
In the framework of intricate M&A transactions or carve-outs, you develop and oversee sub-projects with an emphasis on ESG considerations.
Additionally, you will perform due diligence (in higher-level investment procedures), ESG portfolio reviews, and ESG materiality studies.
You consider the optimisation of current processes when planning and implementing PMI in your projects.
You serve as our clients’ point of contact as part of your work, which includes banks, private equity firms, and industrial groupings.
In addition to working on projects, you and the professionals in the network constantly broaden our offerings for sustainability services.
Your Profile:
Excellent degree in engineering, environmental, or economic sciences, or something similar; a doctorate or MBA would be ideal.
Relevant work experience in the field of sustainability and ESG, such as B. with an M&A management firm, an investor, or an ESG/sustainability rating agency.
Good familiarity with legal requirements (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, Supply Chain Act), common standards (GRI, SASB, UN PRI, UN GC), and recent advancements in the ESG field.
Strong background in business administration and a passion for operational and strategic concerns, such as B. M&A, business models, process optimisation, or value creation.
A strong affinity with statistics, assurance using Microsoft Office, a drive for difficult projects in multidisciplinary teams, a high level of dedication, individual accountability, and an agile, goal-oriented style of working.
Ability to communicate and present in both German and English (extremely competent in voice and writing), as well as a willingness to travel.
