Job Title:
Manager ESG Reporting ComplianceYou will lead the legally mandatory Amadeus ESG reporting task, in compliance with local and international regulations. The focus will be primarily compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and any related regulation in Europe and elsewhere in the world, including those that require cooperation and leadership at local level, like compliance with the EU energy efficiency Directive.
You will stay up to date with current and future ESG Regulation applicable to Amadeus, particularly in Spain and EU, but also in the rest of the world and identify internal units impacted by ESG regulation.
You will coordinate with internal units, particularly Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Finance the common understanding of the impact of ESG regulations in Amadeus, but also organize internal documentation and information sessions on ESG regulatory topics for ESG office and relevant and impacted internal units.
In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities
You will stay up to date with current and future ESG Regulation applicable to Amadeus, particularly in Spain and EU, but also in the rest of the world and identify internal units impacted by ESG regulation.
You will coordinate with internal units, particularly Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Finance the common understanding of the impact of ESG regulations in Amadeus, but also organize internal documentation and information sessions on ESG regulatory topics for ESG office and relevant and impacted internal units.
In coordination with ESG reporting team and other units, ensure clear definitions of data and processes to report and manage internal relations to facilitate the collection of critical ESG data to comply with current and future regulations.
Production of the Amadeus non-financial information statement (NFIS), including the necessary data to comply with EU Taxonomy requirements. Produce (starting for 2024 reporting year) the production of Amadeus Sustainability report, in compliance with CSRD requirements.
Coordinate particularly with CFA and with the different BUs involved, the information required for compliance with EU Taxonomy requirements.
Follow up on current and future legally binding reporting requirements and anticipate the need for improved reporting tools and processes to comply with current and future regulation, particularly in the EU.
About the ideal candidate
BA in finance/economics, environmental science or similar
Detailed knowledge of legally mandatory ESG reporting requirements.
ESG Corporate reporting experience in compliance with EU regulations like Non-financial information Directive and familiar with the new CSRD.
ESG reporting in compliance with sustainability standards like GRI, SASB, TCFD or the GHG Protocol.
Experience in ESG reporting in technology or travel related companies.
International experience in large and complex multinational companies.
Skills:
Very good command of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams.
Very good writing skills and ability to communicate and present clearly.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to rapid changing environment, requirements and tasks.
Fluent English. Spanish and other languages as an additional advantage.
