POSITION
Reporting to the Corporate QHSE Director, the Environmental & IMS Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, coordination & monitoring of the Integrated Management System at a Corporate level as well as at all GRI plants worldwide, monitoring KPIs, performing audits and supervising the certification process required by ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. This positions is also responsible for supervising and monitoring Environmental projects and KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
Establish, implement and maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and EN1090 at Corporate level as well as in all the subsidiaries of GRI group;
Plan, Schedule and conduct the Internal audit to ensure effectiveness of Integrated Management System, monitoring the actions compliance and performing internal audits;
Supervise and Monotorize Environmental aspects and KPIs in the plants, continuos support to the plants on environmental Management.
Work and support on Implementation of Global environmental projects across GRI factories.
Benchmark of Environmental best practices across GRI Factories.
Control, review and update documentation required for Integrated Management System, liaising with all the organization and with external bodies such as consultants, certification agencies for matters related to the Integrated Management System;
Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization;
Identify areas of improvement and initiate the corrective and preventive action in the organization with the aim of implementing the IMS properly;
Monitor the projects across the organization related to IMS Policy & Objectives;
Ensure that all the activities and the new procedures, policies, instructions are in line with IMS;
Report to the management on status of IMS and about the improvements achieved with Integrated Management System (IMS) and communicate to all team members regarding compliance with the IMS Certification;
Plan and organize the trainings related to IMS & TQM, coordinating TQM related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Official Professional Certificate related to the responsibilities (highly desirable Bachelor Degree / Engineering).
Master in Integrated Management System and/or Environment will be highly valued.
Knowledge and experience working under ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
Additional knowledge about EN1090 will be highly valued
At least 3 years of experience coordinating an integrated management system based on ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
At least 2 years of experience in Environmental coordination within the Industrial Sector
Advanced level of English (this position involves using English, writing and speaking, at daily basis)
This position involves national and international travels (around 25% and 40% of the time, depending on the business needs)
The positions is based on Madrid (Méndez Álvaro) but it could be open to work from locations where we have a factory at national level.
