Our client, an innovative, purpose-driven company with over 150 years of heritage, is searching for their next Head of Sustainability to lead ambitious environmental and social initiatives. As a certified B Corp, they’re committed to balancing people, planet, and profit, making this an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability.
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to define and implement sustainability initiatives that align with the company’s established sustainability goals, lead a talented team, and ensure sustainability is integrated across the business. You’ll also represent the company as a thought leader at industry events and help drive innovation in sustainable products and services.
What You’ll Contribute
Define and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with the company’s business goals.
Lead and mentor a sustainability team, fostering a culture of innovation.
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to embed sustainability into operations.
Represent the company externally, advocating for sustainability in industry settings.
Track and measure sustainability performance, ensuring compliance with key certifications like B Corp.
Your Skills and Experience
7-10 years in sustainability or environmental management, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead teams, drive initiatives, and influence stakeholders.
Experience with B Corp, SEDEX, SBTi, or similar standards.
Willingness to travel for external events and factory visits.
You are fluent in English, (basic) Dutch is a plus.
