Job Overview:

The Head of ESG is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of ESG and maincubes drive to net zero. The Head of ESG will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. This role involves owning and driving initiatives related to sustainability, energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, and social responsibility to align with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Owning and managing the implementation of targeted ESG initiatives (decarbonisation plans, including reduction target setting);
Acting as expect on sustainability frameworks, standards, reporting and disclosure (SFDR, EU Taxonomy); manage relationships with industry bodies and reporting standard setters such as UN PRI, GRESB & similar bodies;
With the support of external consultants leading the maincubes business on CSRD / EU Taxonomy requirements and audit reporting
Leading the maincubes business on ESG KPI reporting to the maincubes financing banks
Overseeing the maincubes portfolio ESG data collection process, continuously improve the ESG reporting and internal control to ensure consistent, accurate and timely ESG information.
Assisting with ESG report preparation, including quarterly LP and annual ESG reporting;
Leading ESG certifications (such as the alignment with the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) Guidance for Financial Institutions);
Capturing and reporting on Scope 1, 2 and 3 within the maincubes organisation;
Assisting the Sales & Marketing, as well as Construction and Operations teams with any ESG-related information requests coming from customer or suppliers

Profile:

Bachelor or Master’s degree (e.g. Sustainability Management, Finance, Business Administration);
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in sustainability/ESG Data management, audit or reporting within the finance sector;
Understanding of the global sustainability landscape, including reporting and transparency trends and evolving legislation;
Familiarity with GHG emission reporting frameworks (e.g. GHG protocol)
Strong stakeholder manager with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Highest degree of reliability and trustworthiness with confidential information.
Skilled in crafting powerpoint presentations and simple supporting excel models.
Ability to work efficiently in a global and diverse setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
