About the Role:

 

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our Sustainability Team as a Sustainability Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will support the Group Head of ESG in reporting on our ESG activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESRS, GRI, and UK-aligned standards. Your responsibilities will include data gathering, analysis, and reporting and building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data management systems and processes.

Your impact and responsibilities…

 

Collaborate with the Group Head of ESG to report on Pepco Group’s ESG KPIs and goals.
Produce reports and KPIs meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure timely delivery of sustainability data.
Strengthen data management systems and processes, including data collection, control analysis, and reporting.
Stay updated on environmental laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Analyse environmental data to identify trends and predict future events.
Understand the competitive landscape regarding investor and external stakeholder communications on ESG.
Support the writing of Executive and Board reports through data analysis and insight generation.

 

Skills and knowledge…

 

Relevant degree in sustainability, finance, data analytics, or related field.
1-2 years of work experience in a similar role is preferred.
Expertise in writing technical reports and undertaking complex data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in large datasets.
Knowledge of ESG regulation and reporting requirements is preferable.
Keen interest in environmental sustainability and climate change, with a passion for learning more.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI skills a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English or Eastern European languages, specifically Polish, are considered advantageous.
