My client is an independent boutique consulting firm with presence Europe, Africa and the Middle East. They have extensive global experience and industry recognition in the financial services, risk management and finance communities.

Expereince
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic manager to strengthen thier team:
§ Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Management Consulting and /or Banking Industry (ideally Risk Management)
§ 2-3 years of ESG experience from projects related to:
§ Integration of ESG in strategy and bank steering
§ Climate Risk Stress Testing
§ Calculation of emissions (PACTA)
§ Development of Decarbonization targets (SBTi / PACTA)
§ Preparation of regulatory disclosure (Pillar 3) or non-financial reporting (TCFD, ISSB)
§ Ideally, knowledge of current regulatory requirements relating to ESG (in particular, local UK regulations, ECB Guide on Climate and Environmental Risk, EU-Taxonomy, CSRD, EBA guideline on Pillar 3 reporting) as well as other frameworks (SDGs, TCFD, Sustainable Finance)
§ Experience in ICAAP/ILAAP, risk appetite/limiting, stress testing, capital management, recovery/resolution, etc.
§ Quantitative background with strong analytical skills and an interest in quantitative topics
§ Proficiency in Excel; nice-to-have: R, Python and knowledge of their uses in the work environment
§ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team but also manage a team
§ Ability to work independently and to quickly familiarize with new topics
§ Ability to understand, independently structure and derive innovative solutions for complex topics within short timeframes
§ Commercial awareness and ability to find and foster client relationships
