Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a ESG and Social Value Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in London
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
Create and manage a contract specific social value and environmental plan which aligns to TRP’s Sustainability Strategy and puts in place meaningful actions to affect the three pillars and four themes TRP’s Sustainability Strategy
Understand the TRP estate and its potential to innovate to drive ESG deliverables against contractual obligations under Gain Share
Understand the impact of ESG against quoted and project works
Support the TRP’s carbon reduction plan – for example conducting energy audits
Establish and create a network of Sustainability champions
Maintain a structured environmental and energy management systems aligned to ISO 14001 and 50001
Work with OCS UK&I ESG team on wider programmes e.g share best practice case studies and support on group wide audits
General
Avoid conflict of interests between personal interests and the interests of the UK & Ireland group.
Exercise independent judgment, reasonable care, skill and diligence when carrying out their duties.
Act in good faith and promote the long-term success of each company within the UK & Ireland group for the benefit of all members and wider stakeholders.
Adhere to and promote the UK & Ireland group’s policies on equality & diversity, information security, health and safety and data protection in the performance of their duties and the management of the departmental function reporting into them.
About You:
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Necessary
Carbon/energy management experience
Experience of successfully creating and/or managing ESG related management plans within an organisation
Ability to deliver innovations with ROI suitable to individual contracted needs
Desirable
Familiarity or experience in Social value measurement/TOMs framework
Qualifications/training in carbon/energy management
Experience in managing volunteering initiatives
Applicants with qualifications in sustainability/ESG related areas are strongly preferred – this may not be their degree subject as such degrees , but could be a post graduate qualification in ESG/sustainability or similar
