This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Corporate ESG Programs Coordinator for our New York, NY office. Be involved in projects with our Enclosures Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Lead gathering and quality improvement of USA data for WSP’s annual GHG emissions inventory and other ESG disclosures
Conduct data analysis of WSP USA’s GHG emissions inventory and activity data to identify trends and further opportunities for decarbonization.
Drive efforts to achieve GHG emission reduction goals through cross functional collaboration on decarbonization programs.
Manage the development and maintenance of WSP’s USA regional decarbonization plan.
Manage WSP USA’s carbon tax fund, to include establishing fund operating procedures and overseeing the fund application and distribution process.
Provide WSP USA business groups with expertise and support to advance ESG-related initiatives.
Grow employee engagement on ESG-related topics and initiatives.
Support WSP’s ESG-related voluntary and mandated reporting requirements and provide expertise regarding forthcoming ESG reporting policies.
Engage WSP USA suppliers to facilitate their adoption of decarbonization plans, renewable electricity, and SBTi-approved targets.
Liaise with functions responsible for achieving WSP social and governance ESG ambitions
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree in ESG policy or related field
3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in discipline
Experience with GHG accounting and ESG disclosure practices
Experience with ESG data analysis and statistics to identify and convey trends and identify opportunities
Demonstrates commitment to keeping up-to-date with trends in ESG management and disclosures
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collaboratively across functions and
Prepares and leads presentations to management
Ability to contribute and interact well with others as well as develop and manage high quality technical and [professional deliverables.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $95,000 – $110,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
