The Circular Economy Manager, will be at the forefront of advancing Virgin Media O2’s (VMO2) Better Connections Plan through dedicated focus on the circular economy pillar. The responsibilities will encompass steering the strategy and execution of projects and partnerships crucial to achieving our circularity targets. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our commitments, showcasing leadership, and propelling the business towards the realization of a more circular business model.

In this role, collaboration is paramount as you lead efforts to enhance circular product propositions for both B2B and consumer sectors, raising awareness of VMO2 circular economy standing. Your role involves owning the partnership strategy, identifying organizations to support initiatives and amplifying public awareness of our pivotal role in advancing a circular economy. Additionally, you’ll champion the creation of internal and customer use cases for circularity, shaping our external narrative and developing impactful metrics to measure our contributions. Your multifaceted responsibilities position you as a driving force in shaping a sustainable and circular future for Virgin Media O2.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

Previous experience supporting consumer-facing teams with proposition development or direct CVP experience
Previous experience in sustainability including some experience of circular economy programme
Excellent written and verbal communication and confident presenter and public speaker
Experienced managing multiple end to end projects at the same time
Partnership strategy and management experience
Excellent stakeholder management and experienced working in cross-functional/matrix teams
The other stuff we are looking for
We’d also love you to bring;

IEMA Associate (AIEMA) or Practitioner (PIEMA) and working towards full membership
Extensive experience in delivering or shaping circular economy programmes and initiatives
Creativity and idea generation experience
