Overview
You will play a critical part in the SITA Sustainability & CSR team, with the responsibility to implement and report on SITA environmental commitments, including Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi), and to help embed sustainability into SITA strategy and operations. You will connect with individuals at all levels, influencing senior leaders across the business to act effectively across all our ESG materiality topics. Your work will support delivery of environmental, social and governance benefits for SITA, its employees, customers, suppliers, industry, and communities.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will lead the following activities and be a key player in driving a positive impact SITA and its technologies have:
Environmental data analysis and management
Manage the calculation of SITA’s GHG emissions
Drive data collection for GHG emissions (scope 1, 2 and 3), ensuring data is relevant, consistent, accurate, and audit-proof.
Ensure environmental data are consistent and accurate for consolidation.
Prepare granular reports on GHG emissions sources across the company
Support SITA’s decarbonisation programme to reach its SBTi targets
ESG Reporting and Disclosure
Supporting the Sustainability Reporting Manager, in the Finance team to evaluate ESG programs.
Publish regular ESG reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards (CDP, ESRS, GRI).
Provide business users with ESG credentials and data when needed.
Identify ESG data -related risks and opportunities, working with risk management teams to mitigate these risks.
Collaborate internally and externally, align ESG goals, and maintain transparent communication.
ESG Strategy and Regulatory Compliance
Lead the following activities and liaise internally with stakeholders to ensure compliance to CSRD and any other sustainability standards applicable to SITA in the coming years.
Assessing SITA inbound and outbound materiality impact on ESG topics data.
Assessing gaps and providing recommendations for each topical and SITA-specific material topic data.
Act as an advisor for best practices and processes regarding the environmental data management and analysis for items related to sustainability & CSR.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
Proficiency in Excel with excellent analytical skills and data proficiency.
Experience in reporting, including design of processes and metrics.
Experience in GHG emissions calculation in a corporate setting (GHG Protocol).
Experience with decarbonisation programme is welcome.
Interest in understanding the latest sustainability regulations, standards, and best practices (CSRD/ESRS, GRI, Taxonomy, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively and influence across all levels of the organization.
Strong networking skills with proficiency in engaging and managing relationships.
Qualifications
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Sustainability Management).
2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics; Sustainable Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability Consulting, or related roles.
Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex environmental and financial data.
Able to provide strong proficiency in reporting of metrics and assessments.
You can demonstrate an expertise in the area of data analytics and management.
You are eager to learn different ESG reporting frameworks (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, GRI, CSRD, ISSB); GHG reporting standards, SBTi, and reporting guidelines.
You are interested to spread your knowledge and competencies into various sustainability topics, mainly focus on environment.
You can work in a team, initiative and a high degree of flexibility.
You see yourself as a service provider who can interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
You are not afraid of conflict to act in the interests of project success even in difficult situations.
