Sustainability Lead(m/f/d)
The Sustainability Lead for Allianz Services is part of the global team, ensuring that sustainability is embodied within our organization. You will manage our overall Environmental, Social and Governance program and takes up on the Global-Line Environmental Officer and on the Corporate Citizenship Coordinator role, overseeing the Local Environment Officers (LEO) and Corporate Citizenship (CC) representatives across all Allianz Services locations.

What you do:

Drives overall ESG integration and acts as senior interface between Allianz Services and Group on all sustainability matters
Coordinates all local ESG integration efforts
Working with global ESG engagement and finance areas
Organize global sustainability-related projects to increase employee engagement and oversee global partnerships focused on sustainability
Assist PwC with organization of local audit process (e.g. on site coordination, audit follow up)
Informing and leveraging Group on ongoing sustainability efforts at Allianz Services level
Coordinating Allianz Services input/responses to international sustainability related regulations
Coordinating the data collection process globally and ensuring that group reporting deadlines are met, both for environmental and corporate citizenship (CC) KPIs
Help maintain the control framework together with Local Environment Officers (LEO) – periodically review process descriptions and key controls
Ensure that group data collection guidance is known at Allianz Services level for both environmental and corporate citizenship reporting
Preparing environmental and corporate citizenship action plan with relevant measures and activities to achieve Allianz Services targets, to support Group target on environmental performance, with direct involvement in the Strategic and Planning Dialogues; collaborate with related, responsible departments (e.g. purchasing, facility management, etc.)
Guiding implementation of measures and activities as agreed with Allianz Services management
Reporting to Allianz Services EMT and Allianz Technology Board on main environmental matters
Active participation in the LEO and CC network and acting as environmental and social consultant and champion within AZS
Adapt and create policies, standards, global functional rules and processes, where needed, for AZS

What you bring:

Relevant master’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or sustainability
6+ years of experience in environmental, social and governance research
Excellent written and spoken English
Experience with Policy Language and ability to write policies and processes clearly
Strong sustainability-related regulatory and standards knowledge (e.g., CSRD, GHG Standards Protocol etc.)
Strong engagement and communication skills
Good skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Understand data and process flows
Exhibits initiative, independence, and organizational abilities.
Capability to establish and sustain working relationships with colleagues globally and with external parties
Collaborative person with high adaptability.
Proven experience in leading and motivating teams.
Proficient in organizing and implementing sustainability events
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
