Academic background and Experience:
Academic background in Economy or Finance is desirable.
Senior professional with 10 years minimum experience in Sustainable Finance, either in an ESG Agency, Investment bank or Asset Manager
Strong understanding of sustainable finance, green bonds, environmental standards and regulatory frameworks (ICMA Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles, Climate Bond Initiative, EU GB Standards, EU Taxonomy,…)
Extensive knowledge of fixed income instruments
Knowledge of impact reporting and measurement methodologies
Language skills:
English is necessary / Spanish or any other language is highly valuable
Soft skills:
Excellent communication skills to build relationships with issuers, investors, and internally to partner teams
Strong analytical skills to assess projects and investments from a sustainability perspective.
Ability to work as a team player
This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification. In case the candidate is not certified, they will have to obtain the pertaining certification upon the incorporation to the role

Overview
Advice/Structuring/Origination of ESG labeled bonds for public sector, financial institutions and corporate issuers assessing on the optimal framework and issue structure.
Engage with issuers, investors and other stakeholders relevant to the market
Manage the end to end ESG bond issuance process, ensuring alignment with market standards
Monitor the performance and market trends for ESG labeled bonds
Participate in meetings with Clients in coordination with Coverage, DCM and other product teams as appropriate.
Participate in Sustainable Finance forums and events
