Position B – Sustainability Strategy Consultant (SSC)

A key role in our growing organization, you will be “rolling up your sleeves” and starting working with our
clients to design sustainability strategies that lead to transformative action and business model innovation.
You will be assisting company teams in setting the agenda and direction for defining and activating plans
that contribute to a just and regenerative future. Moreover, you will be:

Working as part of a multidisciplinary and global team of consultants advising a wide range of corporate
clients and sectors. To a lesser extent you will also be engaging with NGO and international organizations.
Managing multiple engagements accross client segments while interfacing with senior sustainability leaders
and their teams, nurturing long time relationships and fostering trust.
Co-creating sustainability and social impact strategies, from design to implementation.
Conducting doble materiality assessments, IROs identification and integration of main sustainability impacts
into strategy and action plans in a very proactive manner.
Contributing to developing solutions taylor made to our clients: translating insights and foresights into
actionable projects, setting strategies, measuring and monitoring their impact and assessing training and
mentoring needs.
Organizing and facilitating client workhops.
Writing proposals, project progress reports and final recommendations in a clear, engaging manner.
Contributing to NOIMA visibility and reputation by writing issue briefs, deep dive papers, social media posts
and participating in webinars and sustainability business forums and conferences.
Actively identifing new business development opportunities and best ways of assisting our clients in
reaching their sustainability transformation goals.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Sustainability Consulting or experience with setting
sustainability strategies in Corporate Environments.
Proven experience in solving sustainability challenges in organizations delivering sustainability projects and
programmes.
Proven experience developing sustainability strategies, action plans, materiality assessments, stakeholder
engagement and value chain/ supply chain analysis.
Proven project management experience, knowledge in process and planning skills – strong follow through
and accountability.
Workshop facilitation and moderation experience (art of hosting) and systems change knowledge is a plus.
Experience

Desired qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – preferably in business and/or environmental studies/management-.
MBA or relevant Master ?s degree (MSc in Sustainability Management or similar) will be a plus.
Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan. Other languages will be considered a plus.
High command of the Office package: Excel, Word and Power Point.
About you

To thrive in this role it is important that you are/have:
Purpose-driven and passionate about sustainability and social impact, with knowledge and understanding of
the primary drivers, issues and trends shaping the sustainability and social impact agenda.
A strategic, forward-thinking planner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive
approach to challenges and finding creative solutions.
Understanding of how businesses operate and the breadth of business sustainability challenges.
Knowledge of business sustainability practice and current trends. Understanding of the political and
regulatory landscape that is impacting business. Strong sustainability reporting standards knowledge is
essential: ESRS, IFRS SDS, GRI.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to maintain working relations with a variety of internal
and external stakeholders (communications with clients, team coordination, report delivery and presentation
of results to clients, budget and schedule control).
Self-aware with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal and present with
impact and clarity to a wide range of stakeholders. Being comfortable with presenting to customers and
engaging with senior management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across organisational teams internationally in a
productive manner.
Strong attention to detail and willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with anything: no task is too big
or too small.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit with proactive attitude in a supportive and agile team environment.
Analytical, flexible, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work with minimal direct
day-to-day supervision.
Ability to adapt and pivot to changes and troubleshoot problems.
Experience working within a start-up environment or rapidly expanding business.
Builder of long-term, deep relationships; networker and connector.
Knowledge and experience with sustainable innovation and organizing bootcamps, would be an advantage.

Full time position, with an open-ended contract
Hybrid (1-2 days per week remote work).
Flexibility: Fridays from 9:00 to 15:30. Four weeks in summer from 8:30-16:30 and possibility of working remotely
