TEAM AND ROLE:
As Climate Action Senior Consultants at STRIVE, the Climate Action arm of STX Group, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality consultancy advice to international clients on sustainability-related topics in different sectors. You will also contribute to the development of new services and client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on decarbonization strategy ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that align with clients’ environmental objectives.
Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from project initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure
Develop and execute projects that facilitate the reduction of carbon emissions in line with the latest SBTi guidelines and requirements.
Manage innovative projects and support clients to tackle their indirect GHG emissions
Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability to provide clients with up-to-date services and recommendations
Key Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in a sustainability/climate action consulting company
Experience leading projects with GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3), Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi), and decarbonization strategy (ex. MACC curves), ideally being exposed to hard-to-abate sectors: cement, steal, chemistry, energy
Good organizational and communication skills, strategic and analytical mindset
Master’s degree (or equivalent) ideally in Environmental Sciences. Excellent English skills
Living in or willing to relocate to Madrid, Spain
