WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Ornua’s ESG team for a Head of ESG Reporting. The role will report to the Group Director of Sustainability, working closely with Ornua’s Group sustainability specialists, operational sustainability leads and business units across Ornua’s global operations and offices.
This role will lead the team responsible for Ornua’s ESG data collection and reporting for the entire business, to meet regulatory requirements and to support business ESG performance. It will also support external communication of ESG performance to key stakeholders including customers, regulators, shareholders and consumers.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Lead Ornua’s ESG reporting team at Group level. Support team development and ensure the necessary business capabilities are in place.
Ensure compliance to global ESG regulatory requirements including CSRD and TCFD.
Lead Ornua’s external ESG reporting in line with market standards including CDP, Sedex, Food Loss and Waste Protocol.
Develop and lead Ornua’s internal ESG reporting processes to support business decision making and to drive business improvement.
Report on key ESG metrics and performance internally at Group and Business Unit Level including Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions, Food Waste, Sustainable Packaging, Diversity &
Belonging and CSR.
Manage existing ESG reporting tools and platforms, develop and deliver the strategy for future ESG reporting tools.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of experience in an ESG reporting or similar role.
A graduate or post graduate qualification in sustainability, finance, accounting, business or related fields.
Excellent communication and programme management skills.
Good knowledge of international standards for ESG reporting – including GHG Protocol, Food Loss and Waste Protocol, GRI, TCFD, CSRD.
Good data management and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of ESG IT reporting systems.
