Are you a seasoned sustainability professional with a strong grasp of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles? Do you bring more than five years of experience in ESG and over five years in a management role?
If so, we’re looking for a motivated Sustainability Manager to join our team and drive impactful, sustainable solutions for our clients.
Your role with us
As our Sustainability Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding clients through the development and execution of their ESG strategies. You’ll support companies in achieving their sustainability goals through:
ESG Consultancy: providing tailored guidance on ESG strategy formulation and implementation.
ESG Assurance: conducting and managing assurance to evaluate the current ESG position of clients.
Reporting & KPI Calculation: preparing comprehensive ESG reports, collecting data, calculating KPIs, and analysing performance metrics, greenhouse gas emissions.
Project Management: leading multiple ESG projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership: overseeing and mentoring a team of junior and senior consultants, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Who are you?
You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with over five years of experience in sustainability (ESG) and an additional five years in a management role. Your proven leadership and team management skills, enable you to guide and develop junior and senior team members, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
You bring a strong understanding of financial reporting and are skilled at linking sustainability insights directly to balance sheets, enhancing strategic impact.
With advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting, and expertise in PowerPoint for creating effective presentations, you are equipped to communicate complex data clearly and persuasively.
You are fluent in Dutch and English, with French as a valuable advantage, enabling you to work effectively in multilingual environments and with diverse teams. Your technical, analytical, and communication skills make you an asset in driving ESG initiatives forward with precision and influence.
With excellent communication abilities, you are confident in public speaking and adept at presenting complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
You have analytical and detail-oriented abilities, allowing you to work effectively with data, KPIs, and financial figures, ensuring precision in all aspects of reporting and strategy.
Your problem-solving mindset and effective time management skills equip you to handle challenges with a solution-focused approach, ensuring timely and impactful results.
Additionally, your strategic mindset is complemented by strong negotiation skills, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to find innovative, value-adding solutions within the ESG landscape. Together, these skills position you as a forward-thinking, impactful leader in sustainability management.
