My partner, a leading real estate company in Belgium, is looking for an ESG Lead to drive their sustainability strategy and oversee key environmental, social, and governance initiatives. This role will play a pivotal part in achieving their sustainability goals while embedding ESG practices across diverse real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Sustainable Practices:
Collaborate with suppliers and project teams to integrate innovative, eco-friendly solutions into real estate operations.
Identify opportunities to implement sustainable materials, products, and technologies.
Training & Engagement:
Lead internal ESG communication efforts in partnership with the corporate communications team.
Develop and deliver sustainability training programs through internal platforms.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Measure and analyze key sustainability indicators, including energy and water consumption, waste management, and CO2 emissions.
Work with external partners to ensure accurate carbon footprint assessments and third-party validations.
Prepare ESG reports to communicate progress to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Your Profile:
Bilingual in French and Dutch, with solid English proficiency.
Effective communicator with experience in engaging teams and promoting ESG awareness.
Proven experience in an ESG or sustainability-focused role, ideally within the real estate or corporate sector.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Strong knowledge of carbon emission reduction frameworks, sustainability standards, and reporting practices.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with ease.
