Description –
The Sustainability Disclosure Senior Manager oversees and ensures the accurate and timely reporting of HP’s Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, positioning HP well with key Raters & Rankers and other external and internal reporting mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Reporting Frameworks: Create and implement frameworks and metrics to measure HP’s environmental, social, and governance performance.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
- Data Collection and Verification: Work with internal teams to gather and verify data related to sustainability performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the company’s sustainability progress to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations.
- Strategic Insights: Help HP sharpen our ESG strategy and make it future-proof, in line with evolving regulations and customer requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct gap analyses to identify areas where HP needs to improve its sustainability performance and reporting.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including finance, audit, and sustainability professionals, legal, digital transformation to improve the quality of sustainability-related disclosures.
- Data Quality: Ensure the quality and consistency of data used in sustainability reporting.
- Assurance: Support the assurance process for sustainability reports.
- Training and Awareness: Lead training and awareness-raising initiatives within HP to promote a culture of sustainability.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze and interpret complex data and information.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Project Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Sustainability Reporting Frameworks: Familiarity with various sustainability reporting frameworks and standards.
- Proficiency in Sustainability Reporting Software and Data Analysis Tools: Experience with relevant software and tools.
- Understanding of ESG Principles: A strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
The base pay range for this role is $146.650 to $225.850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
