RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include the following activities:
Work with climate specialists to calculate IPC’s footprint annually across global activity
Manage IPC’s carbon reduction roadmap
Formulate, implement, track and ensure compliance with Near-Term and Long-Term Science Based Targets with the SBTi
Engage with IPC’s supply chain to track their carbon reduction roadmaps if they have one / persuade them to implement one if they don’t have one
Engage with IPC Facilities / landlords / building manager / local branch managers to switch existing facilities to green tariffs, and work with IPC Facilities to ensure new real estate is on a green tariff
Conduct an annual renewable energy assessment across IPC’s global network of data centre suppliers
Obtain ISO 14001 certification
Create an annual ESG Report, creating the environmental content and coordinating with the various IPC functions to gather content for the other topics.
Report on the progress of the program
Improve IPC’s CDP and EcoVadis annual scoring
Experience and skills requirements:
Masters degree in either:
Sustainability
Carbon Accounting
Climate Change
Environmental Science
Geography
5 years+ experience working in industry
Experience calculating carbon footprints for international companies
Experience implementing Science Based Targets with the SBTi
Experience implementing ISO 14001 frameworks

At IPC, we believe that hybrid working creates an inclusive, flexible environment where employees can perform at their best, and teams can collaborate, innovate, and celebrate successes together. We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some employees may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and/or client needs.
