IE Executive Education and Gesconsult are proud to invite you to engage in the discussion surrounding the importance of good corporate governance, and its link into stock performance, with leading academics Professor Didier Cossin, from IMD Lausanne, and Professor Marc Goergen, from IE Madrid.

When you search in google for “Good Governance” the first definition you find is that “Governance helps you to always act in the best interests of the business, it can improve the performance of the business and help it become more stable and productive”.

Companies that focus on good governance guidelines will have a more solid argument for existence and will ultimately perform better. As it´s confirmed by an academic research from Professor Didier Cossin and his research team, in ESG, a good G (Governance) triggers a good E (Environment) and a good S (social) impacts, and leads to better stock performance.

Based on this research, the Gesconsult Good Governance RV USA Fund, systematically selects the 100 companies that ranked the highest in terms of quality of Governance within the S&P500 universe.

Similar findings can be found in the research of IE University professor, Marc Goergen.
